This is a tricky one as there are only 5 crossovers. However all offsets are at
or below the lower limit, as is the weighted mean offset being -0.0057. The most
negative offset is 33MW19930704.1 which in turn is very trustworthy. Proposed
adjustment of 0.005.

All offsets clearly within acceptable range. Most offsets are even quite close
to zero, thus no adjustment proposed.

06M320150501 - alkalinity
All offsets are clearly above the upper limit with a mean weighted offset of
8.7. The lowest offset resulting from the crossover with 33MW1993 is not too
trustworthy as it is biased in regards to alkaly measurments - 33MW1993
experiences a strong drift in alkaly and the applied adjustment of +3 might be
too high for this latitude.
Thus following the mean offset, the proposed adjustment is -8 correcting for too
high concentrations.

Only 7 crossovers, but all within acceptable range. The two cruises showing
higher offsets are thought to have 1% too low phosphate concentrations, e.g. see
comments 06BE2000. Thus no adjustment needed.

All offsets except one (29HE2013) close to one. It has already been noted that
29HE2013 might have too high nitrate concentrations, thus further supporting the
good quality of the nitrate measurments of 06M320150501. No adjustment needed.

Except for 29HE2010 all offsets very close to the upper limit (1.02) or above
it. 29HE2010 already has been adjusted upwards. Nevertheless the weighted mean
offset is 1.03, thus an adjustment of at least 0.98 seems appropriate.

There is quite a large variability in the crossover offsets, but all are still
within the acceptable range. The amount of offsets below and above 1 is almost
equal, which is also reflected in the weighted mean offset being slightly below
1.0. Hence no adjustment needed.

The saturation ratio of the upper 20m for all stations shows accurate CFC-12
data. The overall mean of 0.98 further underpins this. Hence no adjustment
suggested.
