Both tracer data seem to have an offset, hence the good fit between them might
be deceptive; Almost all profiles show saturation ratios below 1 and many of
them below 0.95.
This might have a natural cause - water mass formation (Rhein et al. 2002)...
Further there is no crossover cruises from that year for comparison, but AR1996
shows higher values than cruises from 1994.

Both tracer data seem to have an offset, hence the good fit between them might
be deceptive; Almost all profiles show saturation ratios below 1 and many of
them below 0.95.
This might have a natural cause - water mass formation (Rhein et al. 2002)...
Further there is no crossover cruises from that year for comparison, but AR1996
shows higher values than cruises from 1994.

Good agreement between all crossovers indicate too low concentrations. All
offsets are clearly below the limit of 0.98. Following the mean weighted offset
of 0.92 apply adjustment of 1.08.

Crossovers show large variability - offsets above and below 1 exist. If standard
deviations of individual offsets included, most crossovers lie in acceptable
range. Maintain 0.00.

The majority of crossovers shows offsets within the acceptable range. Only 3
offsets above 1, all other indicate too low oxygen concentrations - the mean
equals 0.994. However, not enough evidence to submit such a small adjustment.
