325020131025 - salinity
The only two crossovers, as well as a comparison of the depth average vs the
depth average of surrounding cruises of GLODAPv2, indicate good accuracy.
Maintain.

325020131025 - phosphate
Susan Becker indicated that nutrient data was not corrected to CRMs. Had they
been corrected the data would (likely) have been correct (need to check cruise
report).

325020131025 - phosphate
The only two crossovers, as well as a comparison of the depth average vs the
depth average of the surrounding cruises of GLODAPv2 (2.62 μmol kg−1 vs 2.51
μmol kg−1), indicate too high concentrations. The MLR analysis (based on 501
samples) supports these findings nicely, even though the range is quite large
and outliers are present. Adjust downward according to the median of the MLR
offset.

325020131025 - nitrate
The only two crossovers, as well as a comparison of the depth average vs the
depth average of surrounding cruises of GLODAPv2 (36.29 μmol kg−1 vs 35.89 μmol
kg−1), indicate acceptable accuracy. Additional MLR analyses are not very
informative for nitrate as the predictor variables are likely to be offset
themselves (PO4, Si, O2). Maintain.

325020131025 - oxygen
The only two crossovers, as well as a comparison of the depth average vs the
depth average of the surrounding cruises of GLODAPv2 (143.43 μmol kg−1 vs 150.85
μmol kg−1), indicate too low concentrations. The MLR analysis (based on 494
samples) does support that the concentrations are too low in general but there
is no consensus on the magnitude of the bias. Thus, given this uncertainty, no
robust adjustment can be assigned.
