49NZ20130106 - salinity
The offsets below the lower limit are not trustworthy, e.g. 09AR2003 is strongly
influenced by one deep measurement only.
The other crossovers indicate rather too low concentrations, but the evidence is
far too weak for an adjustment.

It is a highly variable region. The profiles of all cruises are very scattery
making decisions hard. The weighted mean is -3.05 - thus within acceptable
range. Maintain.

49NZ20130106 - ph
The additional carbon interconsistency check (type 2) does not support a strong
upward adjustment as being suggested by the crossover analysis. Assuming that
the TA and tco2 data is accurate, pH is only offset about -0.0026. However, if
TA is adjusted upward 3 μmol/kg, pH needs to be adjusted upward (0.01) too. The
latter one fits quite well to the crossover results.... For now maintain.

All crossovers (only 5 with a calculated offset) indicate too low values,
independant of the time and location. The weighted mean offset is -0.0125.
Following that, adjust upward.

the present profiles are a little scattery. For now, following the weighted

The saturation ratio results show that these are dependant on the location
(profiles towards the end of the cruise tend to have a stronger
undersaturation).
Also, note the nice fit to CFC_11 data. Maintain.
