The data is acceptable even if maybe slightly too high. Note the large standard
deviations of the individual offsets and the nice fit with the most recent
crossover RY2011. Maintain.

All crossovers have a negative offset (at least -2). The offset is clearly
visble at greater depth and also present at both legs. Adjust accordingly to the
most recent cruises (UP2010 & RY2011).

49UF20120621 - ph
All crossover offsets are clearly below the limit and indicate a bias of -0.017.
The interconsistency check (type 2) confirms that the data is too low but shows
a higher uncertainty and lower magnitude (offset of -0.008). Adjust accordingly
to the most recent crossovers.

No offset lies below the lower 2% limit, whereas 7 (out of 40) offsets are
between 1.02 and 1.03. The highest offset (1.035, HG1997) is based on non
crossing stations… However, there is clearly not enough evidence for a small
downward adjustment. Maintain.

The majority of the crossovers indicates acceptable accuracy even if the
concentrations are maybe 1% high. Nonetheless, there is by far not enough
evidence for such a small adjustment, especially considering the high
variability of this region. Maintain.

Even with a minimum depth of 2000m used for the crossover analysis the results
show still a relatively large standard deviation. Nonetheless, the data seems
very accurate. The absolute weighted mean is almost exactly 1 and most offsets
are within the range. Maintain.
