very large standard deviations (e.g. UF2003), no clear offset can be seen.

profiles. Not enough for a 2nd QC.
The interconsistency check (type 2) reveals that pH might be a bit too high for
a perfect match (0.0084).

All offsets are within the acceptable range. Only one RY crossover the rest is
split up into UF and UP crossovers of which many only have relatively shallow
data. UP crossovers show the strongest offsets (>1) but all still very low. All
in all the analysis suggests that the data is very accurate.

The summary plot is misleading in this case! Many of the listed offsets are
based on only the "upper" (1500m - 2000m) water column, e.g. UF 2003 and UP2000.
If the enitre profile is taken into account it can nicely be seen that the
measurements are accurate, e.g. 49YR1994, UF2006. This upper offset is probably
a natural trend as it is not present in the most recent crossover, UP2010.
Maintain.
