58GS20150410 - salinity
There seems to be a temporal trend towards more saline waters within the last 15
years. However, the trend line is not that clear making this a tricky decision.
Due to the large uncertainty involved in this decision I cannot recommend any
adjustment...

58GS20150410 - tco2
The analysis is performed for normalized tco2 (Frijs et al. 2003). There is a
temporal trend visible, e.g. TH2002 - TH2010. Mean weighted offset thus not
relevant. In respect to the trend line data seems to be too low. However given
the uncertainties of the trend line - maintain.

The analysis is performed for normalized alkalinity (Frijs et al. 2003). All
offsets are clearly within the acceptable range, also reflected in the weighetd
mean of 0.84. Note that the analysis is based on few samples. Maintain.

58GS20150410 - phosphate
All crossovers show at least a 8% offset - clearly indicating too high
concentrations. Note the strong agreement between all crossovers. There is only
one offset below 1.1. Further, the Redfield-Ratio also indicates too high
phosphate values supporting the crossover result. Adjust downward following the
weighted mean offset of 1.13.

Most crossover offsets are within the acceptable range, (more or less) centered
around 1. Note that the deepest measurement might downgrade the quality of some
crossovers, e.g. 06MT1997.

This is a difficult analysis due to the large variability between the different
offsets and their large uncertainties. Also the analysis depends onvery few
data. Note that crossovers in front of Iceland only show strong negative
offsets. Thus, even though the weighted mean offset is 1.04, maintain.
